Canadian Auto Dealers Welcome New Chairman

MARKHAM, Ontario — The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors elected a new chairman for 2009-2010 at a recent meeting in Edmonton, Alberta.
Voted into the role was Neil Kalawsky, a dealer in British Columbia.
He will be charged with leading the association toward the final completion of its Strategic Plan 2010 in the coming months.
Outgoing chairman Bill Taylor, of Regina, Saskatchewan, will now serve immediate past chairman.
"With an extensive and award-winning background in selling both domestic and import brands backed up by association involvement at both the Provincial and National level B.C. dealer Neil W. Kalawsky will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for helping his fellow dealers to his term as CADA Chairman for the 2009-10 term," officials noted.
