BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Dealerslink, which specializes in dealer-direct wholesaling, announced this week that it has released Marketplace 3.0. This is the third generation of the trading platform.

According to officials, the Dealerslink Marketplace 3.0 has been under development since May and is designed to significantly improve the platform.

"We've been creating new value in our application ever since we started in this business," explained Rafael Salomon, lead product developer.

"The current release is a columniation of all our internal and external suggestions and feedback and I know it addresses real dealership needs," he continued. "Overall, I'm very excited to be a part of the organization and this latest product enhancement."

The company said it is releasing this new version at a time when a lot of eyes are focused on pre-owned solutions and acquisition avenues. Officials noted that the pre-owned segment of the auto industry was a very popular topic at this year's National Remarketing Conference.

When asked about the timing of the release and new competition, Travis Howard, vice president, indicated, "Of course we've taken note, but our mission hasn't changed. We started on day one knowing that dealerships are dynamic businesses and you better deliver real value and continue making advancements if you want to earn loyal members.

"I realize this niche is the buzz right now. I even heard Chris Little from Hendrick Automotive call the perfect dealer trading platform the ‘holy grail' at this past NRC, but we've been here for nearly six years building the best marketplace available, with real members doing real transactions. The business isn't new to us and we welcome the spotlight," he added.
