AutoNation Lists Used Inventory on LiveDeal.com

PALO ALTO, Calif. (April 4, 2005) -- Through a partnership with AutoNation, LiveDeal is now listing the entire dealer group's used vehicle inventory on its Web site.
Nearly 20,000 used vehicles from more than 280 AutoNation dealers are listed on LiveDeal.com in the LiveDeal Autos area. LiveDeal has given AutoNation exclusive premium Web page placement for all its territories.
"Our agreement with AutoNation is a terrific acknowledgment of the need LiveDeal fills for auto dealers seeking online alternatives to traditional classified," explained Rajesh Navar, LiveDeal's chief executive officer.
LiveDeal's vice president of marketing and operations Devon Cohen, added, "AutoNation's inventory will give local buyers the selection they want. People looking for used autos represent 30 percent of our monthly traffic. We expect this figure to increase to 50 percent within a couple of months."
