SANTA CLARA, Calif. (July 6, 2005) -- LiveDealAutos.com has launched a pay-per-lead program, which allows dealers to list their used vehicles for free and pay only for unique and valid sales leads, explained company executives.
LiveDeal will charge $20 per unique valid lead. Company officials said subscriptions are available in states where pay-per-lead is not permitted.
Through the program, dealers can post an unlimited number of classifieds with photos at no cost, get a 1-800 toll-free tracking number, send data feed and get free customer support.
"We consider the Used Vehicle Pay-Per-Lead program to be more relevant and a breakthrough business model for used car dealers," said Devon Cohen, LiveDeal's vice president of automotive.
"The evolution of the Internet is transforming classifieds from a cost-to-list model to performance-based model," he continued. "The average dealer spends more than $500 in marketing per new vehicle. In contrast, an effective dealer on the Internet spending $20 per lead and closing 20 percent of their leads spends $100 marketing per vehicles, an 80 percent savings. This is a pretty compelling argument to move more marketing to the Internet."
