CARY, N.C. — "The Right Tools Make the Difference" and "The Edge You Need to Succeed" are the cornerstones upon which two major industry conferences are built.
The 2007 Used Car Manager Spring Training Conference and iRemarketing 2.0 — The Next Generation of Remarketing Technology, both part of The Auto Remarketing Conference Series, deliver great "bang for your buck" and will be held back-to-back at The Westin Westminster outside of Denver this April. For more information, visit www.autoremarketingconferences.com.
In response to recent industry trends detailing increased spending on Internet marketing in 2006, both conferences highlight the latest in technological advances. Touting the slogan "The right tools make the difference," The 2007 Used Car Manager Spring Training Conference is designed to help dealers and managers reach their operational goals by offering valuable "how-to" workshops. These workshops will emphasize ways to maximize on the billions of dollars dealers will spend on Internet advertising and sales.
Leading national trainers include David Kain, of KainAutomotive.com, on best practices with Internet advertising and sales; Howard Polirer from AutoTrader.com on understanding Internet advertising for the dealership; Marc Smith, of The Cardone Group, on the newest and most effective desking skills; David Walsh, of CenterOne, on handling objections and closing the sale with confidence; Mark Burack, of Liquid Motors, on eBay best practices; Rob Cohen, of Auto Advisory, on compliance and legal issues on the sale of used cars; Mark Walsh, of Mark Walsh International, on improving closing ratios and retaining gross; Tony French of First Look and Dale Pollak of vAuto on inventory management solutions.
David Kain of KainAutomotive.com stays on to address executives at the used-car industry's annual technology conference, iRemarketing 2.0 — The Next Generation of Remarketing Technology, which directly follows the 2007 Used Car Manager Spring Training Conference. Kain, with experience at the top of FordDirect.com, as a dealer and as a technology expert, will speak to the opportunities surrounding "the next generation" of technology in the used-car industry.
Discussion panels and workshops will be the prevailing format at iRemarketing 2.0 — The Next Generation of Remarketing Technology, giving you "The Edge You Need to Succeed." Examples include "Logistics Best Practices" with PIN/J.D. Power's Jie Du; NuTech Solutions/ClearVu Remarketing's Tom Wilson and Jeff Grandstaff of Insight Network Transportation, presenting the latest intelligence and research available to effectively and efficiently manage used-vehicle distribution logistics; and "Emerging Technologies in the Remarketing Channel — Creating an online buying and selling environment."
Here, Bob Schoen of ADESA joins Jim McKnight of OVE.com, Bob McConkey of Auction Pipeline, executives from ABC and ATC/Onlane and moderator Grace Appleton, of JMsolutions, for a conference kick-off panel. Together, they will explore issues woven into the fabric of the online buying and selling environment and the emerging technologies driving that market.
The 2007 Used Car Manager Spring Training Conference will be held April 24-25, 2007; iRemarketing 2.0 will be held April 25-27, 2007. Both conferences will take place at The Westin Westminster outside of Denver.
