ROSWELL, Ga. — MyDealerLot officials recently announced they entered into an agreement with Keyper Systems to create an enhanced inventory tracking system for dealers.
Executives explained that the agreement fashioned a fully integrated real-time location system in conjunction with a key management system. They went on to explain that the collaboration also can streamline operations associated with key fob management.
"Whenever a salesperson retrieves a key from any key management system, the next natural question asked relates to the physical location of the vehicle," noted George Cresto, president and founder of MyDealerLot.
"With Keyper Systems access to MyDealerLot's application program interface, Keyper Systems can now answer that question and more in real time," Cresto added.
Also commenting on the agreement was Dennis Guessford, chief operating officer of Keyper Systems.
"The integration of our Keyper key system and MyDealerLot's real time vehicle tracking is an innovative solution for the automotive industry, and many other industries as well," Guessford said.
With real-time location, quick and easy access to secured keys, an API integration of the dealerships DMS or CRM program is the new formula for higher dealer profits," Guessford continued.
