BURLINGTON, Vt. — Officials from 800response rolled out their newest enhancement to their suite of call management products. The Missed Call Monitor can alert dealership personnel of missed telephone calls in real-time.

The Missed Call Monitor can send an e-mail message within seconds of a call going unanswered. Company officials said these messages can be generated when a customer experiences a busy signal, a hang up or attempts go unanswered because of volume. The tool also can create a message when a phone call lasts only a couple of seconds.

"Missed Call Monitor complements our extensive set of tracking reports and further extends the tremendous analytical value that call data delivers," noted Michael Bedell, senior vice president of marketing and sales for 800response.

"By implementing e-mail alerts of missed leads the moment a call is missed, we are enabling our customers to immediately analyze the opportunity, add the lead to their outbound sales efforts and instantly recover lost calls, which may translate into significant sales revenue," Bedell continued.

Company officials explained that the Missed Call Monitor can be utilized at more than one location. They said the tool can help dealership management better use personnel depending on call volume at one store over another. Furthermore, 800response mentioned that its tool can aid call-response techniques and sales strategies.

"Every business misses calls, and these missed opportunities are costly and hard to recapture," Bedell pointed out.

"We are offering our customers a way to monitor their missed call activity in real-time so they can keep their finger on the pulse of incoming lead activity, recover missed prospects and generate more sales," he added.
