Deadline to Donate for NAAA Silent Auction This Week

FREDERICK, Md. — The National Auto Auction Association has sent out a final reminder for anyone interested in donating items for the group's annual silent auction.

To be included in the program, which benefits the NAAA Warren Young Sr. Scholastic Foundation, contributors must let NAAA know by Friday.

Bidding for the silent auction ends at  the NAAA Annual Convention, which is being held Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Washington, D.C. 

Two of the auction's featured items are the following: 

Kentucky Derby travel package, donated by Southern Auto Auction

This package includes: 

—Two first-floor clubhouse tickets (section 115-119) to the 2009 Kentucky Derby (held the weekend of May 2, 2009). 

—Three-night hotel stay at the Louisville Marriott East. 

—Welcome reception at hotel featuring mint juleps, hors d'oeuvres and live music. 

—Trip to Horse Farm and Bourbon Distillery Tour (Kentucky Oaks tickets may be substituted). 

—Rides to and from Churchill Downs on race day. 

—Full-size rental car and full buffet breakfast daily. 

—Kentucky Derby Museum Party: Private Derby Museum party, featuring full buffet, cocktails and private betting windows.
