CARY, N.C. — Among the many insightful workshops and presentations scheduled for iRemarketing 2009, one panel discussion, in particular, will gather some of the industry's leading economists and executives to examine how the used side of the market can be profitable again.

One of these executives to serve on this special panel will be Art Spinella, president of CNW Research. As many know, he regularly provides industry report cards detailing used-vehicle sales for both independents and franchised dealers, showroom traffic, finance trends and much more. In fact, some of his latest industry analysis can be found on stories via www.autoremarketing.com.

Spinella is serving on the "Prospering again in the used-car business: What will it take?" panel. This discussion is part of the exciting, comprehensive lineup at iRemarketing 2009, which is being held April 28-30 at the beautiful Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa in Phoenix. This year's theme is "New Technologies Increasing Used-Car Sales."

Panelists include:

—Ralph Fisco, national remarketing manager, Toyota

—Paul Johnson, president and chief executive officer, Kelley Blue Book

—Bill McIver, director of sales, SmartAuction

—Spinella, president of CNW Research

—Paul Taylor, chief economist of the National Automobile Dealers Association

It will be moderated by Auto Remarketing's Bill Zadeits and Ron Smith, who are the co-chairs of the conference

"We've gathered some of the best and brightest economists and executives who can provide an insider's look at what it will take for the used-car industry to bounce back," Zadeits commented. "This is just one of the many invaluable workshops, presentations and networking opportunities being offered at iRemarketing 2009.

"As attendees will soon find out, this technology-driven conference can deliver the solutions and best practices needed to thrive in an ever-changing auto environment," Zadeits added.
