DALLAS — AutoBidsOnline.com, a relatively new lead generation service developed by CyberCalc, announced Wednesday it has hired a director of sales.
Taking on this post is David Funderburk. He is a 20-year auto industry veteran who has held positions in dealerships from the sales floor to management. From 2001 to 2009, he led national sales and support operations vehicle lessors FairLease and Standard Finance.
"We're thrilled to have a talent like David on board," said Jeff Cook, company president and co-founder. "I've worked with David as a client, business partner and fellow member of the National Vehicle Leasing Association. He has proven success delivering tangible results and has a drive, work ethic and integrity that are second to none."
Funderburk's initial efforts will be focused on recruiting a limited number of franchised dealers to become members of the AutoBidsOnline Dealer Network.
"Their model is quite unlike all the other lead generation services and we see great value in limiting our dealer base," pointed out Funderburk. "We do not sell mass volumes of leads to every dealer possible. This is a big step in the right direction for dealers who have grown tired of spending $300 or more to close one in 10 Internet leads."
