ATLANTA -

With many shoppers out and about making their last purchases of the year, Autotrader has come out with its latest list of the top incentive deals available on certified pre-owned vehicle purchases this holiday shopping season.

The list includes Volkswagen's CPO program, which has added an additional two years or 24,000 miles of warranty coverage to the original Volkswagen factory warranty on any model this month.

“CPO cars and trucks are often lightly used, with a long manufacturer-backed warranty, providing car buyers greater peace of mind while staying on budget,” Autotrader managing editor Tara Trompeter said in a news release. “And with the year coming to a close, many automakers are tacking on extra incentives to their usual CPO programs in an effort to end 2017 with a bang.”

This month, Acura's CPO program is offering one year/12,000 miles of additional comprehensive coverage and up to seven years of powertrain protection from the vehicle's original sale date. And qualified shoppers interested in CPO versions of the MDX and RDX crossovers can also get 0.9 percent interest for up to 36 months.

In addition to BMW's CPO program offering one year of comprehensive coverage with unlimited mileage from the expiration of the original factory warranty, BMW is giving customers zero-percent interest for up to 60 months on all certified pre-owned 2013, 2014 and 2015 i3 models throughout December.

Chevrolet's CPO program touts two warranties this month. Customers can get one year/12,000 miles of coverage from the CPO purchase date and a powertrain warranty with six years/100,000 miles of coverage from the original sales date. Qualified shoppers can also get 1.9 percent interest for up to 36 months on CPO versions of the Cruze, Equinox, Malibu, Silverado, or Traverse through the end of the month.

Similar to Chevrolet's, the GMC CPO program also has two warranties included with the purchase of a CPO vehicle. Through the end of December, qualified shoppers can also get a CPO Acadia SUV, Sierra pickup or Terrain SUV, with 1.9 percent interest for up to 36 months.

Lincoln’s CPO program is offering six years/100,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage from the original sale date, along with 2.9 percent interest for up to 66 months on any CPO Lincoln model.

Through the end of December, Mercedes-Benz's CPO program offers shoppers one year of unlimited-mileage bumper-to-bumper coverage. Additionally, this month there is also a special incentive for CPO versions of the Mercedes-Benz CLA. Qualified shoppers can finance a CPO version of the entry-level sedan model with 1.99 percent interest.

This month, Nissan's CPO program boasts powertrain warranty for seven years/100,000 miles of coverage from the original sale date. Qualified shoppers can either get 1.95 percent interest for up to 36 months or 3.99 percent interest for up to 72 months.

At Volkswagen, in addition to extra incentives such as an added two years/24,000 miles of warranty coverage to the original Volkswagen factory warranty, qualified shoppers can also get 1.99 percent interest for up to 60 months.
