VANCOUVER, Wash. -

Dick Hannah Dealerships gave away a brand-new car this month, as part of an annual project to give back to the community.

For the eighth year running, Dick Hannah Dealerships participated in the Valentine’s Day for CCA event held to raise money for children diagnosed with cancer and to benefit the Children’s Cancer Association. As part of that event, the company awarded a car to the winner of the Keys to Our Heart raffle.

Disabled veteran Christopher Stauty of Oregon won the raffle, and was offered his pick of eight brand new vehicles. Stauty chose the 2013 Jeep Patriot, and his family picked up their new car at Dick Hannah Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge on Feb. 20.

Working in partnership with local media outlets to conduct the event, Dick Hannah Dealerships’ employees also volunteered to staff the CCA phone bank on Valentine’s Day to help with incoming phone donations.

“We couldn’t have done it without your [volunteers’] incredible help and support. I am absolutely humbled by their compassion, talent, and commitment for the volunteer work they do for us. You are the heart and soul of the CCA,” said Melissa Owens, community outreach and volunteer specialist for the Children’s Cancer Association.
