AUSTIN, Texas -

CarStory announced two new U.S. patents Tuesday morning, making it 11 patents for Vast’s automotive AI platform.

The company also has 10 additional ones it has filed that are waiting issuance.

As for the latest patents, they are:

— CarStory Predictive Conversions Systems and Methods, which “details the methods for gathering intelligence based on every interaction to help predict conversion rates,” the company said in a news release.

— CarStory Market Relative Position Engine. This patent adds to AI-based models and identifies and ranks competitors.

“As the competition and cost of traffic continues to increase, companies need better ways to engage the traffic they have and convert that traffic at a higher rate,” parent company Vast chief executive officer John Price said in a news release. “With our Predictive Conversions Systems we can maximize the return on traffic,” he said. “Our Methods and Market Relative Position Engine takes something very complex — understanding how a vehicle fits in a local market — and makes it simple.”
