SOUTH BARRINGTON, Ill. -

GE Capital Fleet Services announced its 2012 GE Imagination @ Work Awards last week during the company’s strategic planning meetings in South Barrington, Ill.

The company handed out 16 different honors, spotlighting auctions and industry leaders across the country.

One of the highlights was the National Gold Award, which is awarded to the auction that has the highest national score in Remarketing by GE’s program.  This year’s honoree was DAA of the South.

GE Capital Fleet Services also announced a very special honor, its fourth annual Laurie Dobberphul Award, to recognize a top female achiever in the auto business.

The award is in memory of Dobberphul, a Remarketing by GE team member who passed away in 2009.

This year’s recognition went to Charlotte Pyle, who was the 2012 president of the National Auto Auction Association.
