LeasePlan USA announced this week the expansion of its sales team.

Tasked with the responsibility of generating new business relationships for LeasePlan while delivering on the brand promise of “it's easier to Leaseplan,” are Bob Barna, sales vice president of strategic accounts, and Steve Arkon, sales vice president of national accounts.

Barna brings a diverse sales background to his new role, company officials noted. Prior to joining LeasePlan, he worked as vice president of sales and marketing for one of the top steel distribution companies in North America, where his sales team focused on specialized service delivery and consultative solutions to meet clients’ needs, both short- and long-term.  

Arkon brings 20-plus years of professional fleet management sales experience to LeasePlan, having previously worked as director of strategic sales with Comdata. In that role, he created and coached top performing sales teams in multiple markets, adding hundreds of accounts and thousands of vehicles onto fleet management services.

“Bob and Steve both have the unique ability to work through complex issues and develop creative solutions, customized to specific fleet requirements,” said Brian Barber, senior vice president of sales for LeasePlan.

“By leveraging their strong financial acumen and consultative approach, they will assist new clients in achieving their corporate goals.
