SEATTLE and LONDONDERRY, N.H. -

ServNet member auctions announced two new general manager appointments recently.

Auto Auction of New England announced the promotion of Steven DeLuca to position of GM.

In his new position DeLuca will be in responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing and decision making.

The new GM will oversee the day-to-day operations of AANE.

The auction said DeLuca has a “lifetime of experience” with the auction, having having worked part time and summers since he was twelve years old.

Steven joined the company full time several years ago as assistant general manager and “has spent his time building his knowledge in the operations and business development of the auction and the auto industry as a whole,” auction officials said.

Farther west, Dave Blake has joined the McConkey Auction Group with his new position of GM at Dealers Auto Auction Seattle.

Interestingly, Blake began his career with the AANE in 1995, where he worked his way up the ladder and served 11 years as GM.

He was first introduced to auction customers as the new DAA Seattle GM at the January 10th sale, the auction reported.

“We’re glad to have someone with David’s experience and auction knowledge on board,” says DAA’s Bob McConkey.

“David is a hands-on leader who brings valuable insight to our entire team,” McConkey added.

Blake has served as both president and treasurer of the Eastern Chapter of the NAAA and is currently the co-chair of the Independent Auction Group.

Additionally, he served as chairman of the board of the Eastern Chapter of the NAAA from 2010-2013.

“I’ve always been committed to giving back to this industry,” said Blake. “I also embrace ongoing change and growth, and I am eager to continue with both at DAA Seattle."
