LONDON, Ontario — CarProof announced earlier this week that it has promoted two of its sales team leaders. The company named Shawn Vording director of dealer sales for Western Canada, while taking on the role of regional vice president of dealer sales for Ontario is Chris Alfonso.

Vording was most recently a regional sales manager in the Hamilton to Ottawa region of Ontario. In his new role, Vording — who is relocating to Calgary to more effectively manage sales initiatives in the western part of the country — will work alongside auctions and other industry partners, and his focus will remain on promoting due diligence and full disclosure in the used-car market.

He will also promote a uniform business model throughout the country that demonstrates just how important providing full transparency is for all used sales.

"As the CarProof brand gains traction in the West, it's imperative that we continue to grow along side our members with greater accessibility by way of more localized sales and service," Vording shared.

Meanwhile, Alfonso was most recently vice president of sales for the Western region. In his new role, he will continue to grow the CarProof brand and membership base.

Alfonso will also work with account retention and demonstrating how full CarProof integration can help control the sales process while also leading to sales boosts.

"I'm charged to see our internal growth," stated Marty Meadows, vice president of dealer sales Canada. "It's key to providing our consumers and industry partners with the best possible products, services and industry knowledge, helping us to launch CarProof to the next level.

"The inception of these two new sales management positions will allow me to concentrate my energies more directly on our national sales initiatives, while continuing to oversee our collective sales productivity," he added.
