WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -

Following a move from its old site in Avoca, Pa., GWC Warranty recently showed off its new corporate headquarters in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by state and local officials, project developers and company employees.

The 16,500-square-foot facility includes 60 open office workstations and 12 private offices. It features a reception lobby, boardroom and two conference rooms, as well.

Also, it features a 75-person-capacity multi-purpose room meant for seminars and high-level training sessions. The facility houses all of GWC’s claims, administration, contract processing and executive offices, as did the previous headquarters.

With the latest shift, GWC has now moved its headquarters four times in its history. Officials suggest these moves are in response to the company’s growth and the latest move is the “most significant yet.” The company said the new headquarters allows for further growth.

“We’re delighted to welcome everyone to our new headquarters," GWC Warranty president and chief executive officer Rob Glander said during the ribbon-cutting.

“This incredible facility reflects the GWC standard of excellence that our automobile dealers and drivers have come to expect from us. It represents both our past success and our future aspirations,” he added.
