CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -

VW Credit (VCI) has signed on as a new consignor with the addition of the Dealers Auto Auction Group’s Chattanooga, Tenn., auction. The site is located no more than nine miles from the VW assembly plant that began production in the Volunteer State seven years ago.

Dealers Auto Auction Group announced Wednesday that Dealers Auto Auction of Chattanooga has added VCI to its roster of consignors to offer dealers both Volkswagen and Audi brands once a month.

Chattanooga dealers can now look forward to being able to purchase vehicles that are sourced from a facility in their community. Auction operations senior manager at VCI John McCue explained in a news release that VCI’s new relationship with DAA Chattanooga provides an opportunity to support the dealers in a community that supports VW.

“We believe that selling quality pre-owned vehicles in the hometown of our Chattanooga plant makes a ton of sense and are very happy with the progress and relationship with DAA,” McCue said. “It is important for VCI to give back to the local community that supports our company, and DAA shares those same values.”

In addition to VCI’s inaugural sale held in mid-April, VCI’s most recent sale on May 10 had conversion rates over 90 percent, according to DAA Group.

The next VCI sale that dealers at DAA Chattanooga can anticipate is scheduled to take place Monday morning, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

“We are very excited to have this opportunity to work with John McCue and his team at VCI,” said DAA Group chief executive officer David Andrews. “The DAA Chattanooga team strives for exceptional service and performance, and we look forward to a long relationship with VCI.”
