SAN FRANCISCO -

Drive Motors has appointed a former regional sales director at CarGurus to oversee the company’s growth across the West Coast.

The company announced Wednesday that it has chosen Lauren Wolfe to serve as Drive Motors’ new senior director of consumer experience.

Wolfe most recently served as president at  FZA Digital, the digital-advertising agency of fusionZONE Automotive.

In addition to serving as regional sales director at CarGurus, prior to FZA Digital, Wolfe has held management positions such as director of corporate marketing at Roundtree Automotive Group and regional sales manager at Showroom Logic.

"With a proven track record for excellence in sales, territory management and key-account development, Lauren will be a tremendous asset in scaling our growth on the west coast," Drive Motors head of growth Rune Hauge said in a news release. "Her insight and instinct will provide our team with a competitive advantage for educating and delighting our dealership partners about online-checkout tools for car buyers."

She brings more than 15 years of experience related to search-engine marketing, social media, lead generation and product development.

"Drive Motors is the missing piece in the automotive industry," said Wolfe. "I’m excited to deliver this integral technology to dealerships and round out my career from CarsDirect, the first place one could buy a car online, to actually assist dealerships in improving the car-buying experience."

In her new role, Wolfe will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Hauge.
