New automotive technology advancements continue to stream out of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.

This morning, Toyota revealed that beginning this year, the OEM will significantly increase the availability of SiriusXM across its entire vehicle line-up.

Officials shared that SiriusXM will now be standard on the majority of Toyota's multimedia systems. 

SiriusXM will also be standard on all vehicles equipped with Toyota's Entune system.

"Toyota's significant increase in the availability of SiriusXM on its new multimedia system shows its commitment to giving customers technology that makes driving a Toyota vehicle even more enjoyable," said Steve Cook, executive vice president and ceneral manager, sales and automotive, SiriusXM. 

"Satellite radio is easy to use and according to a national survey it is a top feature for customers buying vehicles with new multi-media systems.  We are proud that Toyota sees value in making the world's best audio entertainment available to even more of its customers,” he continued.

Also revealed this morning at CES is new wireless capabilities in Audi vehicles.

The 2013 Audi A3 will come with 4G LTE wireless connectivity powered by the second generation Gobi multi-mode 3G/4G LTE chipset, the MDM9215, by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

"Audi was the first automaker to highlight the potential for LTE connectivity in vehicles at CES 2012 and now becomes the first automaker to announce a commercial model with embedded 4G LTE connectivity," said Ricky Hudi, chief executive engineer of electrics/electronics, Audi AG. "As a highlight, we will soon be offering a fully integrated LTE link for our Audi connect services in the new Audi A3 in 2013."
