McLEAN, Va. -

When it comes to the used models getting the most looks from online shoppers, some familiar names were at the top of the list.

According to consumer trend data provided in the latest Guidelines report from NADA Used Car Guide, the three most-researched used models last month on NADAguides.com were the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and the Nissan Altima, respectively.

That was not only the same top three for November 2011, but also for October 2012, as well.

Following the No. 3 Altima in the fourth-place spot last month was the Honda Accord sedan. Coming in at No. 5 was the Toyota Camry, followed by the Chevrolet Impala in sixth and the Ram 1500 at No. 7.

Rounding out the top 10 were the Ford Mustang, Toyota Corolla and BMW 3 Series, respectively.

The NADAguides.com data shared in the report also looked at the brands with the most year-over-year growth in consumer activity on the used-car side of the market.

Leading the pack were Saab and Audi, each with 20-percent hikes. They were followed by Jaguar (up 18 percent) and BMW (up 16 percent).

Used-car activity for Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki and Porsche climbed 14 percent each. Other makes with double-digit-percentage gains were Land Rover (up 13 percent), Hummer (up 12 percent), Volvo (up 11 percent), Mini (up 10 percent) and Acura (up 10 percent).
