CHICAGO -

Cars.com announced Monday that it has brought aboard Sachin Gadhvi to serve as vice president of growth marketing to oversee paid media, customer acquisition, SEO and organic traffic strategy and data strategy.

Gadhvi most recently served as chief marketing officer for venture-funded auction marketplace Everything But The House (EBTH), where he significantly contributed to building the marketing infrastructure, systems and channels from scratch, according to Cars.com.

His background also includes serving as the vice president of marketing at Ticketmaster.

"Sachin brings extensive experience in building performance marketing channels from startups to established technology companies," Cars.com chief marketing officer Brooke Skinner Ricketts said in news release announcing Gadhvi’s appointment. "We are pleased to bring his deep expertise in driving sustainable growth at two-sided tech-enabled marketplaces to our team as we continue to focus on taking our SEO optimization, customer acquisition and analytics infrastructure to the next level."

In addition to driving more than $1 billion in ticket sales for Ticketmaster Resale, Gadhvi managed multiple brands, aligned performance marketing programs across SEM, SEO, programmatic display, paid social, email, affiliate and retargeting, according to Cars.com.
