CarLotz says that its team was nominated for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 Mid-Atlantic award because of its work in “driving the company’s growth trajectory.” At the same time, the team used vision and leadership to inspire others, the company said in a news release.

CarLotz said the award is designed to “celebrate those who are building and leading successful and dynamic businesses.”
Since CarLotz’s 2011 launch, the company’s team, under the leadership of Bor, Montgomery, and Boland, has opened multiple locations throughout Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, and Texas.
