LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. -

Camping World and Good Sam chairman and chief executive officer Marcus Lemonis plans to open more AutoMatch USA SuperCenters later this year.

Lemonis intends to bring AutoMatch USA, a pre-owned dealership that specializes in foreign and domestic pre-owned vehicle of all makes and models, to Bakersfield, Calif., and Avondale, Ariz., by fall and then to Ocala, Fla., by the close of the year.

This expansion news comes on the heels of a recent announcement that additional AutoMatch USA SuperCenters would be opening in Salt Lake City and Fort Myers, Fla., late this summer after successful openings in the Chicago and Jacksonville, Fla., markets.

The first location opened in Chicago in January and was featured on the hit CNBC reality series, “The Profit.” The second location celebrated its grand opening in Jacksonville in April.

“We have the key elements necessary to build a robust pre-owned car business and increasing our presence in new markets is in alignment with the strategic growth plans we have for the company," Lemonis said. “We are constantly reviewing our footprint and evaluating where we can strengthen our automotive position across the U.S.”

Lemonis began his career in the automotive industry and eventually became vice president of several dealerships in the Miami area. During the past 10 years, Lemonis has streamlined the RV industry, buying more than 100 RV companies from “mom and pop” dealerships across the country and turning them into Camping World RV SuperCenters.
