SAN ANTONIO -

Carvana has launched its fourth Car Vending Machine, the company announced Wednesday.

The San Antonio location joins fellow Texas cities Austin and Houston, along with the original Car Vending Machine in Nashville, Tenn.

The eight-story glass structure in San Antonio can hold 30 vehicles and has four delivery bays.

“We’ve been offering our free delivery services in the San Antonio market for almost a year and a half now, and reception to the Carvana car buying experience has been great. We are always looking for the next city to offer our Car Vending Machine pickup experience to and with the high adoption rate of the new way to buy a car in San Antonio, it made sense to offer the unique pickup experience here next,” Carvana founder and chief executive officer Ernie Garcia said in a news release.

“We can’t wait to deepen our ties within the San Antonio community through this launch and make customers’ experiences even more memorable.”

Customers can pick up their purchases for free any Carvana Car Vending Machine. Those outside the San Antonio local delivery area who still want to utilize the machine can receive $200 in airfare from Carvana, who will also set up white-glove transportation from the San Antonio airport.
