LAS VEGAS -

ADESA opened the doors to its new Las Vegas auction recently with a kick-off sale that included gifts for attendees, a pre-sale reception and more.

The facility — which is located 10 miles north of the Las Vegas strip — will host sales each Thursday and feature consignment from local dealers and national consignors.

“The new ADESA Las Vegas is simply amazing,” said Tom Caruso, ADESA president and chief executive officer. “Our goal was to build the best facility, recruit the best general manager and develop the best team of employees. We are excited by this opportunity to partner with national consigners and local dealers in the robust Las Vegas market.”

On the eve of the auction’s premiere sale, a reception was held at the V Bar at the Venetian. Dealers were given refreshments and bags of ADESA Las Vegas goods.

Showgirls in full attire welcomed dealers on the sale day. Attendees were given ADESA Las Vegas clipboards of the lane lineup and were treated to a continental breakfast.

Prior to kicking off the sale, Tim Donohue — general manager of the new auction — welcomed attendees, who were given a variety of goodies throughout the sale. These included discounts on upcoming buy and sell fees, gift cards and ADESA Las Vegas apparel.

“It was a wonderful opening event,” Donohue said.

“Thank you to my team for all of their hard work, and thank you to our guests for supporting our first sale,” he added. “I look forward to serving our customers at ADESA Las Vegas and can’t wait until the next sale.”
