IRVINE, Calif. -
Kia Motors America has teamed up with OneCommand to roll out a new service reminder program to help its dealer body bolster customer loyalty and service retention, while also trimming marketing costs.
The Kia Owner Retention Experience — which is run by OneCommand and includes important aspects of the Kia Customer 360-degree Service Experience — can automatically and quickly send out service reminders to a dealer’s customers.
Through KORE, messages can be sent through the specific avenue designated by the customer (automated voice, e-mail, text message or direct mail).
When a vehicle hits each stage of its life cycle, a service reminder is sent out to the customer.
“Growing owner service retention will help maximize our dealerships balanced operations and dramatically enhance their profitability,” stated John Crowe, who KMA’s vice president of service, quality and Kia University.
“Kia’s innovative KORE service reminder program is the perfect marketing tool to enable Kia dealers to cost effectively communicate with owners at the optimal time and mileage intervals in the prescribed medium the customer has chosen — voice, text, e-mail and snail mail,” he added.
KORE can be employed seamlessly at a dealership and runs on its own, meaning that dealers don’t have to pump more resources into the program.
There is also a comprehensive support team available. Part of that team is the experts in the field who can offer help.
“We are proud to bring the advantages of a program that is proven to increase service frequency and drive significant improvements in response rates while also decreasing customer defection,” stated OneCommand executive vice president Marvin Grimm.
“With the current pressure on sales and a lengthening vehicle ownership cycle, we believe the Kia Owner Retention Experience’s ability to cost-effectively increase loyalty, drive repeat purchase behavior, maintain current customers and improve fixed operations revenue will be critical to improving revenue, performance and ROI for participating Kia dealerships,” Grimm added.
