HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. -

It was revealed Tuesday that Dealix — which is part of the Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing — now powers the new-car quote and dealer selector platform for NADAguides.com.

The partnership adds to the list of auto websites already employing Dealix in their new-car quote processes — those being Yahoo Autos, MSN Autos and AOL Autos — and helps dealers reach more in-market car shoppers, officials indicated.

Per the deal, visitors to NADAguides.com who wish to communicate with a dealer are shown a “consumer select” screen listing of participating dealers and how far each one is from the shopper.

The consumer can then pick which dealer he wants to connect with, and Dealix then sends the request to the selected dealer within seconds, according to officials.

Doing so helps dealers respond in a timely manner and improves the car-buying experience for the shopper.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Dealix,” stated Lenny Sims, vice president of operations at NADAguides. “Auto shoppers want a choice of dealers with whom to interact in their markets, and Dealix can offer them the broadest set of dealer options. We are excited about the relationship.”

Egon Smola, the vice president of the new- and used-car leads businesses for Dealix, added: “NADAguides is a leader in helping car shoppers make informed decisions. Coupled with Dealix’s advanced technology and strong relationships with auto dealers, this partnership will create a great experience for the buyer, while speeding sales for U.S. auto dealers.

"Our research and first-hand experience show that when you present qualified, local dealers to car buyers, and facilitate a quick connection between the two, the overall experience is better for the car buyer and helps the dealer to match them with their ideal car,” Smola added.
