ATLANTA -

Manheim honored the top volume dealer seller group on OVE.com for 2010 last week, and receiving the recognition was Prestige Management Services.
The Ramsey, N.J.-based company runs seven dealers throughout the Tri-State area (Connecticut, New Jersey, New York) and moved 1,519 units via OVE.com.

It sold to 368 buyers on OVE.com in the U.S. and 19 buyers in other countries.

According to Manheim, Prestige had a higher dealer sales percentage than any other dealer on the website in 2010. Thanks to this accomplishment, Prestige took a 3.67 percent gain over floor price, officials noted.

“The Prestige team is the ideal business partner; they approach every sale with tenacity and focus,” said Mark Davidson, Manheim’s vice president of national accounts.

“From my experience, nobody does it better. The Prestige team makes keen marketing decisions that bolster buyers’ use of our online auction solutions and results in high-performing sales for them," he went on to claim.

Additionally, Prestige generated more than 58,000 views of its OVE.com inventory. The average view per vehicle was at 34.5. The company noted that 368 unique U.S. buyers across 36 states checked out Prestige’s OVE.com listings in 2010.

“We understand that to be successful in the current remarketing cycle, online auctions must be a key component of your business plan,” said Chris Turner, Prestige’s vice president.

“At Prestige, we’ve found that partnering with OVE.com provides the most efficient solution for both our team and our buyers,” Turner added.

Manheim cited some of the various reasons it believes Prestige gained online traction. Prestige “aggressively pursues bids during and after a sale, establishing their presence and desire to sell from the opening bell," according to the company.

Moreover, officials said Prestige reviews each offer and usually makes counter offers.

“The Prestige group has established the benchmark for all dealer groups in the country,” said Nick Peluso, Manheim’s senior vice president of customer management.

“They price at market, the car is always available, and they stand behind their sales. The result of all the company’s effort is more viewers looking at Prestige vehicles than any other dealer group in the U.S., as well as a strong pipeline of loyal, repeat buyers,” he added. “We work with multiple dealer groups from coast-to-coast, and I can easily say Prestige is the best at what they do.”
