In its continuing mission to recognize excellence in the industry, along with reporting the latest news, Auto Remarketing revealed today that its April 1 edition is dedicated to honoring women’s contributions to the used-car, remarketing, auction and auto finance industry.

No matter what area of the business the female nominee comes from, she must have a history of going above and beyond the call of duty, whether through innovation, mentoring new professionals, philanthropy, education or more.

“We want to spotlight the women in our industry who really make a difference,” explained Bill Zadeits, publisher. “This will be our third year of recognizing the top ladies in the industry, and we are proud to continue with this tradition.”

Furthermore, be sure to include:

—Your name, industry position and the name of the woman you are nominating for our special Women in Remarketing feature. Please provide an explanation of why you think the female should be recognized. This information may be quoted in our article. Be as detailed as possible, i.e., what do you know about her accomplishments, background, work ethic and time spent in the industry?

—We will need contact information for yourself and the female you are nominating. Who does she work for? What makes her stand out from others in the industry?

High-resolution photos of the woman you are nominating are a must. Submissions without photos will not be considered unless we can get this for our special layout.

—The hard deadline for submissions is March 2.

—Finally, please understand that due to space constraints we will not be able to feature all of the women nominated. However, this is an ongoing series, so if your nominee is not recognized this year, please be sure to nominate her again next year.
