DataScan Field Services announced Monday its purchase of Launch Technologies LLC and Field-Logic LLC.

These two firms operate together to provide floor plan auditing technology and audit services to financial institutions.

“This acquisition is truly strategic for our company,” said Brent Sergot, president of DataScan Holdings.

“Building on our industry experience and history of outstanding customer service, we will transform DataScan Field Services using Launch’s technology platform to provide more effective solutions and even greater value to our collective client base,” he added.

Launch Technologies was founded in 2006 by Dave Lodigensky and J.D. Grogan. Their emphasis was on “developing cutting-edge technology to support field service organizations and helping clients better manage dealer risk.” The following year, the pair launched Field-Logic to provide audit services.

Among the many clients of the two companies are NextGear Capital and American Honda Finance.
