RICHMOND, Va. -

CarMax Inc. announced Tuesday that it has begun the recruitment process to fill over 2,500 positions at its locations in the United States. The majority of the available positions are in sales, with others in service, purchasing and in the business office. The positions will include full- and part-time work schedules as well as day and evening shifts.

“As we continue to grow nationwide, the same qualities of integrity, respect and customer service lead the way we recruit, hire, train and do business,” said Tom Folliard, CarMax’s president and chief executive officer. “Each new associate joins a team that’s providing the transparent and unique car-buying experience customers deserve.”

The cities with the largest number of sales positions include: Denver, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Miami and Atlanta. The company provides an array of competitive benefits for its employees, including discounts on car purchases and other services.
