MEMPHIS, Tenn. –
Carvana announced today it is launching in Memphis, Tenn. — its 19th market and 10th new one this year.
The company says it can now offer free, as-soon-as next-day car delivery to more than 127 million customers nationwide, including 2.6 million customers in the Memphis metropolitan area.
“As the largest city in Tennessee with close proximity to Mississippi and Arkansas, Memphis is a key area for us as we continue our expansion throughout the Southeast and Midwest regions,” said Ernie Garcia, founder and chief executive officer of Carvana.
“Buying a car is a major life decision, and the experience should be exciting and memorable — but that’s often not the case with the traditional process. We’re really excited to bring a much better way to buy a car to residents of Memphis and its surrounding areas.”
Carvana allows customers to search for, buy, finance and sell a car — including financing and contract signing — in 20 minutes or less, all while saving an average of $1,461 per purchase. The company provides a 100-day/4,189 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, as well as a seven-day return policy for every vehicle purchased.
To date, Carvana has delivered cars to customers in 46 states. In addition to Memphis, the company is in 18 markets, including:
