Automotive Finance Corp. promoted Johnny Shroyer to be vice president of operations for the floor plan company’s West division. AFC indicated Shroyer will report directly to Joe Keadle, senior vice president of operations.

Shroyer, who joined AFC in 2010 as regional manager, will begin in his new role on March 2 with responsibilities for managing, directing and coordinating all AFC field operations in the West division.

With more than 20 years of experience, AFC highlighted Shroyer brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the table gleaned from a wide variety of positions in the financial services and automotive industries. Prior to joining AFC, Shroyer was with Reynolds and Reynolds, HSBC Bank of North America and Capital One Auto Finance.

"Through extensive team building and mentoring Johnny has shown strong leadership in the western region that drives results. Johnny will continue to be based on the west coast, a further testament to our commitment to servicing dealers with local industry experts throughout our network of physical branch locations," Keadle said.

Shroyer added, "I am excited to leverage the success we have had in this region to the entire western division and I look forward to continuing a hands-on approach as we move forward.

"Being out in the field, meeting with dealers, understanding their business and working with our branches to service our customers' needs will drive our continued success,” Shroyer went on to say.
