WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -

GWC Warranty, a provider of used-vehicle service contracts sold through dealers, recently received two awards recognizing it as a top employer both nationally and locally in the greater Wilkes-Barre area of northeastern Pennsylvania.

First, GWC Warranty was recognized nationally by the National Association of Business Resources as one of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition identifies and honors companies that deliver exceptional human resource practices and an impressive commitment to employees. Organizations undergo a rigorous application process that assesses categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

This is the first appearance for GWC Warranty on the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For list, joining sister-company EasyCare, which made the list in 2016 and 2017.

Then, GWC Warranty was also recently recognized by the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader as one of the Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) Best Places To Work. GWC Warranty was included among 56 of the top employers in the greater Wilkes-Barre region based on voting by the daily newspaper’s readers.

This was GWC Warranty’s first appearance on the Times Leader’s NEPA Best Places To Work list.

“At GWC Warranty, we understand that we could not be the best-in-class provider of used vehicle service contracts without the dedicated employees who deliver our No Worries, Just Drive experience each and every day,” said GWC Warranty chief executive officer and president Rob Glander.

“To be recognized among the top employers both nationally and here at home in northeastern Pennsylvania is a testament to the amazing people who make GWC Warranty such a fantastic place to come to work every day,” Glander went on to say.
