PHOENIX -

In an effort to give finance managers more options to present to vehicle buyers, Inilex recently announced that its SkyLINK theft-recovery system has been selected by Reynolds and Reynolds as part of the Reynolds Certified Interface (RCI) Program.

The provider of telemetry solutions for vehicles explained this certification means that SkyLINK can seamlessly interface and securely exchange data with Reynolds’ ERA dealership management system (DMS).

Officials explained the RCI Program standardizes how data from a Reynolds ERA DMS is handled, enhancing the security and supportability of interfaces for both dealerships and third-parties. They went on to say dealerships offering the SkyLINK system can be confident in its compatibility with the Reynolds DMS, and rest assured knowing the data exchanged between the two is reliable, verifiable, private and has the utmost integrity.

"We are fully committed to safeguarding the data that enables us and Reynolds to serve our mutual dealer customers,” Inilex chief executive officer Michael Maledon said.

“In addition to the security and stability benefits, this certified integration allows dealers to eliminate the double entry of data, enabling F&I managers to spend more time focusing on their customers’ needs rather than on administrative tasks,” Maledon continued. “This is just one more advantage that SkyLINK offers dealers.”

Available through F&I departments nationwide, SkyLINK is an intelligent theft-recovery system that uses telematics to track stolen vehicles across the country. As soon as a vehicle is reported stolen, SkyLINK operators can locate it and provide its exact location to the police, often within minutes.

Unlike other theft-recovery devices, SkyLINK can provide broad, nationwide coverage and works with all law enforcement agencies.
