This week, mobile collections and payments app provider Payix announced that Priscilla Zarate has joined the company’s executive team as its finance & accounting leader.

In this role, Zarate will serve as the firm’s controller and lead the financial planning, accounting and payment processing functions, reporting directly to Payix president Chris Chestnut.

Zarate has worked in corporate financial roles for 10 years, including as controller for Innovate Auto Finance. Prior to working for Innovate, she also held positions with Alcon Laboratories and Marketing Management.

“We are very excited to add Priscilla to the Payix leadership team. She brings tremendous experience and financial discipline to the organization, which will be of great help to us as we develop our client base and grow our business,” Chestnut said.

“Priscilla understands payment processing and collections as well. So, she’ll be a tremendous asset not only for us, but our clients, too,” Chestnut went on to say.
