LAS VEGAS -

5miles is unveiling its new auto dealer DMS inventory integration program, ID5, at the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association’s Convention and Expo in Las Vegas.

The company can now connect its app’s marketing capabilities with more than 12,500 dealerships across North America, since partnering with a third-party data management solutions provider that integrates with over 75 dealer management systems and inventory providers.

5miles said it has also has established working relationships with dealer inventory providers, such as CarsforSale.com, Dealer Car Search, AutoCorner, Frazer, HomeNet, DealerCenter and V12.

“5miles has had enormous success in the used car category, with more than 2,000 vehicles sold on our marketplace each day,” 5miles director of sales and business development Jonathan Bailey said in a news release. “Having over 10,000 auto dealers use 5miles has prompted us to enhance our sales tools and integration so that this marketplace can be their most effective source of customer lead generation.”

In addition to the integration, 5miles is introducing a variety of other enhancements for the app at the NIADA conference, such a new VIN scanner feature that make the car listing process faster and improves filter functionalities.

“We want to make it as quick and easy as possible for people to list, find and purchase cars on 5miles—and for dealers to move their inventory through our marketplace more efficiently,” 5miles general manager Rick Cantu said.

“Given the 250,000-plus car searches on our marketplace every day, improving technology to help prospective buyers find nearby vehicles they’ll love based on year, make, model, etc. is a natural progression,” he added.
