CARMEL, Ind. -

After being acquired by KAR Auction Services last June, Autoniq found a new vice president within the KAR family.

Nicole Archer, the director of strategic projects at ADESA, will now be the VP of Autoniq, the company announced Monday. She will be in charge of expanding awareness of the company’s web service and smartphone application, as well as increasing benefits to current customers.

“I am excited to leverage my previous experience across the KAR group of companies to now benefit Autoniq’s customers, who rely on accurate, real-time information when sourcing vehicle inventory,” Archer said in a news release.

In her time with ADESA, Archer oversaw the auction company’s e-business department, which could explain why Autoniq appointed her to expand the scope of its Web service and application in the remarketing landscape.

Archer will report to Autoniq president Thomas Marr, who said he looks forward to working with her to “bring Autoniq’s services to even more markets.”

The Autoniq website states that their application is the most used service of its kind by auto dealers. The app charts pricing, market reports, and connects with services like CARFAX and AutoCheck to provide an extensive history of any vehicle through a VIN scan.
