TUCSON, Ariz. -

Carvana announced Wednesday it has chosen the city of Tucson to be the company’s second market in Arizona.

This expansion follows the introduction of its 40th market in Bakersfield, Calif., last month.

“Arizona is my home state, along with many Carvana employees, so we’re proud to give even more Arizonans a new way to buy a car,” Carvana founder and chief executive officer Ernie Garcia said in a news release. “We hope Tucson customers enjoy the flexibility Carvana offers, while saving some valuable time and money.”

Tucson area residents can now shop more than 8,000 vehicles, finance, purchase and trade in an old car on the e-commerce platform for buying used-cars.

Carvana has made vehicle deliveries to customers in 48 states. It provides free delivery in 41 markets.
