ATLANTA -

Hearst Autos announced Tuesday it will move into the company's new permanent office outside of Atlanta in Chamblee, Ga., on Thursday.

The company’s decision to move to Chamblee’s Antique Row district follows strong growth over the last year and a desire to establish a long-standing presence near Atlanta, according to Hearst.

To cultivate a sense of creativity and community among Hearst Autos’ teams, the interior embraces local artists, shops and the city’s heritage, the company said.

Hearst commissioned local artist, Yoyo Ferro, to paint a custom mural in the office space's reception and kitchen areas.

The office space also has an open floor plan designed to optimize workflow, and employees collaborated on Atlanta-inspired conference room names.

“Rearchitecting the car and driver shopping experience is at the heart of everything we’re doing right now at Hearst Autos,” chief product officer Josh Searcy said in a news release.

“The more we can nurture collaboration within our teams and continue to keep employees inspired, the more we can optimize the consumer journey— for enthusiasts and in-market consumers alike — across every touchpoint. We believe our new Atlanta office really embodies the innovative spirit of Hearst Autos,” he explained.
