FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

It has been a busy 2015 for TrueFrame: new owners, new markets and new offerings.

For starters, TruePartners USA, which had been the largest licensee of the TrueFrame Report, bought the company from Red Mountain Technologies in July.

At the beginning of the year, the third-party inspection service was available in nearly 20 markets; it’s now offered in 25 and the company works with more than 1,200 dealerships across the country.

Most recently, TrueFrame has been launched in the Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and southern New Jersey markets.

“Our Phase 2 of our smaller market expansion is underway,” said chief executive officer Frank Lynch. “We are now offering franchises in over 400 medium-sized markets, which will afford us to have complete national coverage.”

Essentially, TrueFrame Reports help to supplement a vehicle history report by providing an in-depth analysis of prior vehicle damage and what impact that damage could have on the car’s structural integrity and reliability. The report is included with Carfax and AutoCheck history reports.

“We are the third-party inspection service tasked to clarify the severity of previously reported accidents to the agencies,” Lynch explained.

“Selling dealers love the transparency the report reflects, coupled with building online consumer shopping confidence while considering their next purchase,” he added.

But it goes beyond retail.

Auto Remarketing asked Lynch where TrueFrame stood in terms of its services in the wholesale auction marketplace and what progress had been made there.

“We are currently inspecting the off lease portfolio for BMWFS at Manheim Orlando and Palm Beach. They have enjoyed a selling price average of 2-3 percent of MMR for vehicles with previous reported accidents,” Lynch said. “The per-unit price increase in the auction lanes have been outstanding to like vehicles without a TrueFrame Report.”

As for what’s next on TrueFrame’s radar, Lynch also shared a few of TrueFrame’s goals for this year and beyond.

“We have been growing at a strategic pace and have been very well received by our dealership partners. We are expanding into the consumer space to introduce our newest product which is called the Vehicle Integrity Report by TrueFrame,” he said.

“The new report is specifically designed for consumers to have an unbiased comprehensive vehicle inspection with the functionality to score structured reported Issues,” Lynch continued. “This will be a huge assist for selling dealers and consumers who are interested in purchasing these heavily discounted vehicles.”
