CINCINNATI -

Depending on whom you ask, the New England Patriots remind folks of a car with a whiny belt or a Tesla.

There were no questions about deflated tires in the annual NFL & Cars Survey from Swapalease.com, but one would have to think the Pats would dominate that category, too.

As it stands, New England came to mind quite often for football fans when asked about cars and their association with the sport.

When asked by the Swapalease survey, “which NFL team reminds you most of a car with a whiny belt?” 17.62 percent of respondents said the Patriots.

The Dallas Cowboys were cited second-most (10.57 percent), followed by the Buffalo Bills (7.93 percent), Chicago Bears (2.20 percent) and Seattle Seahawks (2.20 percent).

The Patriots also topped the list when participants were asked to name the team that most reminded them of a Tesla, garnering 16.14 percent of the vote.

The Seahawks were next (11.21 percent), followed by the Denver Broncos (8.97 percent), Green Bay Packers (6.28 percent), Cowboys (3.59 percent) and the Baltimore Ravens (1.79 percent).

New England was second in two similar categories, reminding respondents of Volkswagens (Buffalo Bills were No. 1) and driverless cars (Cleveland No. 1.)
