CHARLESTON, S.C. -

Charleston Auto Auction, which is part of the XLerate Group, announced Tuesday it has made four additions and changes to its sales team as it continues to expand.

Krysten Hohl is in the auction’s newly created position of national remarketer; Johnathan Hollis joins Charleston Auto Auction as the new digital development representative for the Greater Atlanta market; Rachel Cortes will be the new dealer relations representative for Territory One; and Megan Demaree will transition to her new role of senior dealer relations representative.

“It is with great pleasure we announce our additions and changes to our sales team,” Charleston Auto Auction general manager Laura Taylor said in a news release. “We feel that with these changes we have one of the best sales teams in the auto auction business and are in position for even greater growth.”

Hohl will work with the auction’s current institutional clients and the Lease Bank business in her new role. She was most recently a dealer relations representative serving dealers in northeast South Carolina and southwest North Carolina. Hohl has an extensive sales background, which includes experience at ADESA and Verizon Wireless, according to XLerate.

In his new role, Hollis will be tasked with growing products like Dealer Feed and XL Online. He has a comprehensive automotive background, having held positions at KAR Auction Services and AFC. Hollis has also served on the board of directors for the Georgia Independent Auto Dealer’s Association.

As the new dealer relations representative for Territory One, Cortes will be responsible for providing auction solutions to both buyers and sellers in northeast South Carolina and southwest North Carolina. She was with AFC before joining Charleston Auto Auction.

XLerate said Demaree will be instrumental in the growth and development of the auction's sales team as senior dealer relations representative. In her new role, she will continue to service the dealers of southeast South Carolina, western Georgia and northern Florida.
