Manheim Nashville Detail Team Reaches Milestone

Also announced this week in the auction industry is a milestone for Manheim Nashville.

In September, 10 members of the Manheim Nashville Detail team cleaned the 1 millionth vehicle at their current facility.

The auction moved into the new facility in January 2002. The facility includes a 12-lane detail shop.

The one millionth vehicle was a 2013 Ford Explorer and was personally delivered to the shop by the auction’s general manager Sam Chaple.

The vehicle also received a special escort by the security team with flashing lights and sirens to announce their arrival, auction management said.

In a symbolic gesture, the auction also selected the 10 members of the original detail team to clean the Explorer that moved into the new facility back in 2002.

The company also celebrated the milestone by recognizing all of the current and past managers and supervisors who have helped lead the shop over the past 12 years.

In celebration, the entire reconditioning team celebrated the milestone with a cookout and gourmet cupcakes to celebrate.
