Copart recently announced the opening of a new location in Andrews, Texas, growing its footprint to a total of 16 locations now operating within the Lone Star State.

Auctions will occur regularly every Wednesday at the new location.

The Andrews location will hold its first live online car auction on Wednesday at 12 p.m. (CT), according to Copart.

"With the addition of Andrews, we now have 16 locations in Texas, which is the most of any state to date," Copart chief executive officer Jay Adair said in a news release. "Another Copart location in the Lone Star State allows us to expand our existing network in the South Central United States and continue our legacy of providing excellent service to vehicle sellers in the region."

Additionally, the new location allows buyers to access inventory and auctions via on-site bidding kiosks, computers and both smartphones and tablets, according to Copart.

"With each new location that Copart opens, it's our job to help prospective customers make informed purchasing decisions," Adair said. "From the New Member Guide to video tutorials to the Copart Mobile App, the tools and resources that we provide go a long way toward creating recurring buyers."

The new auction is located at 1975 South West 860 in Andrews, Texas.
