BROOKFIELD, Wis. -

Fiserv has named Manheim Louisville of Clarksville, Ind., its top performing automobile auction of 2016, in recognition of the auction’s sales effectiveness and operations last year, the company recently announced.

The financial services technology solutions provider annually scores its top three auctions on overall sales effectiveness, operational excellence, sales preparation and marketing.

An auction must be a member of the National Auto Auction Association and have sold vehicles with Fiserv for 12 months to be eligible for the top performance designation.

Fiserv managed the remarketing of more than 85,000 vehicles in 2016, according to the company.

“Vehicle remarketing can be a challenging proposition for lenders seeking to quickly and cost-effectively move inventory,” Fiserv Lending Solutions auction sales and performance manager Jarrod Nawojski said in a news release.

“Developing and implementing an effective vehicle disposition strategy is more than placing ads or sending inventory to auction. This is an understanding that Manheim Louisville embraced, putting in tremendous effort to make Fiserv and our clients a top priority. Their ability to attract both a large local and regional buyer base translated into strong prices for our clients’ vehicles.”

Following Manheim Louisville, Carolina Auto Auction of Anderson, S.C., ranked second and ADESA Birmingham in Moody, Ala., ranked third overall.
