FLINT, Mich. -

More than 200 Chevrolet Corvettes and 200 classic/specialty cars will roll onto the grounds of Flint Auto Auction next month for its annual Corvettes and Classics Sale, where more than 1,000 dealers are expected to be in attendance, according to the auction.

Beyond the 1,000-plus dealers expected to be on site for the April 10 sale, auction John Luce is also projecting strong online attendance, as well.

“The Corvettes and Classics Sale has become a grand tradition at Flint Auto Auction and certainly one of the highlights of the season,” said Luce. “The Corvettes and Classics Sale is a sure sign that spring is in the air at Flint Auto Auction, and with the upturn in the economy and the optimism that's already present in the market, we expect a particularly exciting sale this year.”

Starting off the event will be a gourmet breakfast at 7:30 a.m. (EST) served in lanes Nos. 1 and 2.

The auction will then host an early-bird drawing for a leather Corvette jacket to kick off the sale, which begins at 9.
There will be a grand-prize drawing at the end of the sale for a Corvette convertible. Any dealer who buys or sells at the auction during the four-week period that began March 13 and ends April 10 qualifies for the drawing. All dealer attendees at the sale will get a free T-shirt.

The event will also include more than 1,000 units from such consignors as Ally Auto Remarketing, Avis/Budget Group, CAC, Hertz, Enterprise, and TD Remarketing Services, as well as other fleet/lease, repossession and rental accounts and area new- and used-car dealers.
