ST. LOUIS -

General Motors recently named its 2013 Auction of the Year, and receiving the honors was ABC St. Louis.  With this award, the auction was recognized for “its unwavering commitment to reconditioning, repairs and customer service.”

ABC St. Louis moved more than 4,500 units last year and was called a “strong contributor” to the automaker’s FrontLine Ready and GM Sponsored Plus programs. The auction, which is being recognized with GM’s award for the first time, was chosen from a group of 33 GM Sponsored Auctions.

“Since GM first joined forces with ABC St. Louis in 2010, the auction has consistently provided great service, product and results,” said Dan Kennedy, GM Remarketing’s manager. “The team has taken their operation to the next level. With 40 percent of their vehicles selling online, they are continuing to push the limit to provide customers with the very best experience and vehicles.”

ABC president Jason Hockett said:  “We are honored to have received this award from General Motors, and I thank them for allowing ABC St. Louis to join their auction network three years ago.

“Our slogan at ABC St. Louis is that an auction is only as good as its people. I am thankful for our strong team, and I attribute our growing sales to the work they do to provide our customers with the very best experience each day,” he added.
